What is a Nutritional Therapist?
A Nutritional Therapist is someone who recognises that we are all individual with individual needs, and that minor nutritional imbalances can contribute to symptoms of ill health. By re-balancing these both health & wellbeing can be hugely improved.
How do Nutritional Therapists do this?
We are all different and Nutritional Therapists want to understand your unique stories, including your lifestyle, diet, genes and environment. They may suggest lab tests to identify specific imbalances. With this knowledge, they are able to create dietary and lifestyle plans that reduce symptoms and support a client towards optimum wellbeing.
Who can visit a Nutritional Therapist?
Anyone! If you have any symptoms that are worrying you or causing you discomfort, or you just want to improve your diet, then please book a consultation and we can see how your diet or lifestyle can be improved to help you.
Does a Nutritional Therapist replace your GP?
No - They don't replace your GP and may actually refer you to your GP if there is anything of concern. They may also work closely alongside other professionals to ensure you get the best possible support.
How many consultations should I have?
This will depend on a clients symptoms and progress towards their goals and can be decided together considering the clients best interests. However a minimum of one initial and one follow-up is recommended.
How do I start?
Please send me an email ( and we can book you in for an appointment today. I will send you a questionaire which I ask you to fill out and send back to me to give me a background of your symptoms. We can then discuss this further in our consultation together.
How much does it cost?
Please see the services page for details of prices. I ask for payment to be made up front, details will be emailed to you with confirmation of appointment dates and times.
I really look forward to meeting you and to supporting you on your journey to optimum health.
